Galesburg Road Runners Club : Grand Prix

 

 
Here is how it works:
Any club member enter by running any of these 
races and  sending your Grand Prix Race Results to:    
Grand Prix Results 
Post Office Box 594 
Galesburg , IL 61402-0594
First Place = 2 points
(Overall or in in your age-group)
Placed = 1 point
Complete race = 10 points
Personal Record  = 2 points
Bonus races:  One St. Jude Run, and any one 
Duathlon, 
Triathlons or any race 10 miles or longer.
Complete Race = 10 points
DNF = 5 points
Rules:
1.  The Grand Prix is open to all GRRC members
2.  Maximum of three 2002 circuit PR's per 
distance. To qualify for a circuit 
PR, you must beat your best previous time for 
that distance.
3.  Must volunteer to work at least one GRRC road
 race to be eligible for 
Grand Prix Awards. 
4.  Awards to all who earn over 100 points. 
5.  Declare your participation by sending your 
race results to GRRC Grand 
Prix, PO Box 594, Galesburg, IL 61402-0594 or call
  Julie Shaver  at 
309-343-5973,  
within 30 days after the race date. Please do not 
send your results more 
that once or in large groups. Groups of multiple
 race results may be discarded.
6.  If one of your races is not included in the 
newsletter you must notify 
us before the next newsletter or it will not be 
included.
